Starting on April 1, 2021 we will be going live with a number of enhancements on the HealthSherpa dashboard so that users can process American Rescue Plan changes seamlessly within HealthSherpa. The Congressional Budget Office expects the American Rescue Plan to bring about 2.5 million currently uninsured people to the Marketplace between 2021 and 2023. Nearly all existing clients will be able to resubmit their applications for lower premiums because of this law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n After 4\/1\/21, there will be a green banner at the top of your HealthSherpa dashboard showing your existing subsidy and the new subsidy under the American Rescue Plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n From here, you can click on the \u2018Apply the New Subsidy\u2019 button<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n You\u2019ll then be prompted to skip to the end of the application if you don\u2019t have changes, or update the application if there have been changes. Note that if you have previously declined a request for assistance due to a high income level, you will need to update that field and submit income information to qualify for subsidies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/a><\/div>\n
